The report relies on the information and photos you send. It is not an on-site survey.
Do not get three quotes yet.
A solar company will check whether solar works for you. A heat pump company will check whether a heat pump works for you. You can end up with three different answers, each shaped by what that company installs.
Work out what the building needs first. Then get quotes, against a clear brief, from people pricing the same job. Sometimes the honest answer is that something is not worth doing, and that can save you thousands.

Independent advice from someone who understands buildings
I am Jim Thomas, an Energy Assessor (RdSAP 10) based near Bridgnorth. I have worked across domestic energy assessment, solar and building surveying, for homeowners, local authorities and housing organisations.
There is not one energy solution that works for every building. My job is to look at the property first, understand what is happening and help you decide what is, and is not, worth doing.
No product to sell. No manufacturer to favour. Just practical advice.
